We asked our members the following: How did you find Westcoast Harmony Chorus? What makes you stay? How did you search for a singing and/or community group( choirs/chorus) to join?  What makes us unique? What piece of advice would you give someone who was interested in joining?

Linda had this to say!

I found Westcoast in the classifieds in the local newspaper just when I was looking to join a singing group again. It said, 'If you like singing and you like to have fun…' and well, I thought…yes… I do! The moment I stepped into their rehearsal hall, I felt at home with their genuine welcoming and oh my… that singing! As I sat in front, watching and listening, I knew this was the chorus for me…why they were dancing, smiling, obviously having fun and harmonizing beautifully! Hmmm, not holding music, but instead moving and performing while singing; now that looked like fun and sure was fun to watch! There have been many diverse opportunities available to me as a member of this chorus and the Sweet Adelines Organization but it is mainly the positive connections with chorus members during and outside of rehearsals that make Westcoast so special. If interested in joining, my first piece of advice is yes…join. Then be prepared to work and play hard and be ready to learn, grow and sing your heart out. This chorus will change your life for the better!
