About Us
Why are we so obsessed with TV shows like Glee and movies like Pitch Perfect? Because, when the right group of performers get together to entertain an audience, they have the power to change the room.
We are an a cappella chorus with over 75 members of varying ages and backgrounds, singing primarily in the barbershop style. We rehearse every Wednesday evening in Surrey, BC, learning new, challenging repertoire, from traditional barbershop to contemporary pop and rock arrangements.

Our weekly rehearsals are led by Master Director Anne Downton, the baritone of Frenzy, the 2017 International Quartet Champions! Anne is also a distinguished member of the Sweet Adelines International Faculty, working with groups from around the world. Every rehearsal is guaranteed to be a fun, challenging, and high-level group vocal lesson!

A member of Sweet Adelines International, we were named the best mid-sized chorus in the world at the SAI competition in 2013. In September 2024, we won 6th place overall among the best choruses from around the world. Most recently, we were named the 2025 Region 26 Chorus Champions, achieving our highest score ever and earning us the right to represent Western Canada once again at the international competition in 2026.
