Westcoast is committed to inspiring young singers to embrace music and the barbershop style in their lives. Each year, Westcoast sponsors a Young Women in Harmony workshop at a local high school. We have enjoyed working with singers ranging from 12 to 25 years old. The young women enjoy a weekend full of making music, close harmony style, and working with other young women and knowledgable faculty. The finale of the workshop on Saturday night is a concert showcasing the Young Women in Harmony Chorus and also features Westcoast and some of our quartets.
